This project aims to spur, enhance and contribute to Women Leadership Development in Africa through building contextually relevant tools, literature and reference materials drawn from the experiences of exceptional and successful women leaders, women role models and thought leaders who have grown and served within Africa and beyond.
We know that much as there has been many exceptional women leaders in our space doing alot of impressive leadership work, there have been very little documentation about their Uniquness, Power, Contribution and Lessons. As such, very little of the leadership wisdom and resource garnered along the way is being used to enrich the narrative and philosophy about Women Leadership in our context, worse still, very little is being used to empower, enrich, guide or mentor the now increasing numbers of women leaders. Inspite of these, we know that, when and where Women Leadership is being embraced and supported, there is characteristic exponential growth and admirable impact.
There are a number of sponsor packages available, please contact admin to discuss further. info@zionpearlpublishers.com

Women learn leadership from the noble position of a being Mother.
Mothers are called to be leaders and role models for leaders.

Be the voice of the minority despite the bullies.
I had been a leader in so many ways yet I never realized it because of my perceptions and weak ideologies.
My limited belief limited my view of God as well as what He could do for me, through me, and to me.

Always stand in truth not just ‘your truth’.
My testimony has become my greatest ministry and point of influence.

Even not making a decision is a decision in itself so make it anyway.
You can never be in limbo and expect to move forward.
If you don’t believe in yourself no one else will.
Have a growth-oriented mindset as opposed to a fixed mindset.

A woman leader must invest not only in enhancing her professional skills but also in nurturing the emotional intelligence needed for empowering herself from within.
A woman in leadership must invest time and money in analyzing her emotional self.
Women must nourish both their minds and emotions.
As a woman in a leadership role interacting healthily within the workplace never let unhealed hurt get in your way.
You can only identify, manage and assess another’s emotional intelligence as far as you have done for yourself.
There are some women in leadership roles, who have learned to deny, dismiss, or cover up how they feel so that they are not perceived to be weak among their peers or male counterparts.

Wounded people wound people. Healed people heal people.
Physical health impacts one’s emotions. And emotions impact one’s physical health.
You can only benefit by taking seriously the need to be aware of where you excel in emotional intelligence and where you need to heal.
The truth is, we learn as little girls how to dress up the pain, looking great on the outside, but falling apart on the inside.
What I have learned is that what is spoken into your spirit takes residence within your spirit, without your self-awareness.
When we heal from childhood trauma, it helps us create more space for our soul’s growth and development, which is the spiritual aspect of emotional intelligence.
Deep pain buried unhealed, dictates how we choose to experience life.
Emotions house strong feelings stemming from one’s circumstances, moods, or relationships with others; they are intuitive feelings as distinguished from knowledge or reason.
Through prayer, forgiveness, and guidance from the Holy Spirit, we can experience true inner healing and freedom.
When we heal from trauma, it helps to create more space for our soul’s growth and development.

Leaders must dare high and lonely altitudes ensuring they remain distanced from narrow-minded people who are comfortable with small or minute achievements.
If you are not touching lives, challenging the status quo, or leading people forward into the future, then you can take up numerous leadership positions, acquire several titles and amass the benefits that come with your positions but have no impact on the people, companies, or communities you lead.
Look out for environments that allow you to begin new ideas, solve problems, and influence outcomes.
Deal with whatever comes from any opportunity – the good and the bad – when deep inside of it.
Play from the centre stage and not from the sidelines.
It’s not what you do once in a while that shapes your life; it’s what you do consistently.
Being vulnerable is not a weakness, it is indeed a great strength when you know that you don’t know it all and that you are humble enough to reach out and learn from someone whom you trust.
Leap afraid if you have to, but leap forward.
If you find yourself in an environment that allows you to be yourself, allows you to think, and even do something, please grab that opportunity.
Don’t make it easy for people to decide to eliminate you.
Give your 100% while at it and the world has a way of conspiring and bringing more your way.
The goal of raising your children is to equip them to live in the world independently of you.
As a mother leader, there will come a day when you will be rewarded with an adult who is capable of living independent of you.
Being a mother as a teacher to your child, your goal is to teach them to the point where they no longer need you.
Tune into yourself and define who you’re by being your authentic self in every given moment. Find out what feels good for your soul and do that. That is your freedom.
Define if success for you means better pay, higher rank, more impact, or a combination of these, more life balance or more visibility, and do what it take to prepare yourself for the dream job.

Who am I if I am not being of service to my exhaustion?
Family is one of those balls in life that you don’t drop because it doesn’t bounce back. Once it gets a slow puncture, it takes a lot of work to get it bouncing again.
Authentic leaders use all their energy being good leaders.
Things that many consider mundane still play a critical role in the rise. These should never be reasons enough to miss out on work and make it a perennial challenge as it can easily cause one to miss out on opportunities to rise.
What is spoken into your spirit tends to take residence within your spirit, without your self-awareness.
As a leader, seek to finish what you start, pay attention to detail, do your absolute best, build one-on-one relationships, and encourage people to be the best of themselves.
People often wish that you are something that you are not, especially when you do not pander to their whims.
We all need to boost certain characters or qualities when we lead, because no-one has every quality that is required for leadership.
Leadership practices are greatly shaped by how one was raised.
Never get into a boxing match unless you are one yourself.
Do not play to the gallery and do not pretend to be someone you are not. Instead, focus on what you believe you are meant to do in a value congruent way.
Three lessons; timeliness, intentionality, and openness to adapt to change
Discipline is the single most crucial aspect of achieving success in any field.
Discipline is the single most crucial aspect of achieving success in any field
Self-awareness is a silent art.
Be compassionate with you.
I am the only me, the original.
I have no shame but I owe myself to be the best me that I can become.
That which is not improving is doomed to fail.
Celebrate the lessons and the successes but get excited about the greater things to come.
We question our abilities when faced with hiccups and failures.

Sometimes belief in yourself is the only thing that will fuel you through the storms you face.
My take; Be Bold. Be Your Own Mother.
Self-belief is simply the conviction that you can do it.
We need to accept that leadership starts with us
Leadership is an intentional decision that has been made by those who have emerged to be leaders
Leadership is the leader’s legacy.
Self-evaluation comes with intending to change
Leaders initiate a change from within
The leader has to decide to communicate the change they want to adopt.
The decision a leader makes is what distinguishes his mindset
Every leader is a mirror to the change agent
A flow of communication means there is continuous leadership
leadership should be alive.
Accepting leadership is preparing to create a legacy.
The biggest mistake leaders make is failing to understand their environment.
There is no legacy without an impact.
We start different journeys hoping for the best along the way.
God was and still is in full control and He orders our steps
Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your heart.
Start somewhere; Start small if you have to; Start wherever you can.
Don’t waste time waiting for the ‘perfect’ opportunity.
Share information and knowledge; Do it freely; Do it generously
Free yourself by sharing knowledge.
One of the best ways to learn more about an area is to teach others.
Everyone can be better today than they were yesterday; we are not in the same race.
No experience is wasted.
A lateral move could turn out to be a blessing.
Take a detour sometimes and step completely out of your comfort zone.
Challenge yourself to learn what you think is impossible for you.
Dare to do something new.
Be prepared for the unexpected.
Fear of the unknown cripples us.
Think beyond your current sphere to what else is influencing your area of operation.
